01Battery health under 80% is a real reason
It is also a ₹3,000 problem before it is a ₹90,000 problem. Replace the battery first and re-evaluate in a month.
02Security updates ending is the strongest signal
Once a phone stops receiving security patches, it stops being a safe place for banking and payments. That is a genuine deadline in a way that a slightly better camera is not.
03Camera gains are the most overstated
Between generations two years apart, the difference in good light is small. In low light it is real. Be honest about which one you actually shoot in.
04Run the numbers on holding versus switching
Resale value falls fastest in the first two years. If you are already three years in, the cost of waiting another six months is low — the depreciation has largely happened.
